Senj in 3D

Senj in 3D

The small town of Senj on the Adriatic coast was one of the most important ports in Croatia, because from there the oldest mountain pass leading into the interior of the country exists. Only when Rijeka was connected to the railway network in 1873, lost the port city of Senj in importance. Now Senj is a popular destination because from there to the south is one of the most impressive coastal roads on the Mediterranean. The coastal road runs there up to 300 meters above sea level where you get a fantastic view of the island world Croatia. Senj is one of the quieter cities on the Croatian coast, because there are no large hotel complexes. The 16th-century Nehaj Fortress is the landmark of the city.
