Graz is the provincial capital of Styria and, with 290,000 inhabitants, the second largest city in the Republic of Austria. The city is located on both sides of the Mur in the Graz basin. Greater Graz has been Austria's fastest growing metropolitan area in the past ten years. The old town of Graz and Eggenberg Castle have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999 and 2010 respectively.

I dont`t like winter time. Winter is cold and ugly. But when the sun shines after a fresh snowfall, I also appreciate the winter from a photographic point of view. Fresh snow, which keeps on the trees, in combination with blue sky, is a rare spectacle of nature, which unfortunately is far too rare to see. On the following link are eight photos from my tour.
